I'm trying to get remote desktop access to a Linux (Ubuntu) server with KDE. I am able to log in as root, but when I try to log in as another user, nothing happens, just black screen. The only difference between the two accounts that I was able to spot is that my account does not have .kde folder, whereas root does.
Any ideas on how to get remote desktop access working for my own user as well?
