netsh: specifying an interface by its index?

0

For some reason, Windows 10 provides an on/off toggle button for Wi-Fi but not for Ethernet. So, on laptops you can easily enable/disable internet connection but not on desktops, which usually only have a single Ethernet.

I know I can disable it in the Control Panel, but it is not convenient. I searched Google and found command lines for that, but it seems that I have to pass the interface name to it. I have only one interface (one Ethernet) so I wish I could omit the name or pass an index instead, such as 'interface 0'.

I have tried some, but they did not work. Is that possible?
