How to reuse existing user accounts in a non-default location?

0

I reinstalled my Windows OS in a new SSD . I'd like to reuse the existing user accounts of my family. They are all in the now secondary drive. I'd like to maintain the accounts in the old drive since there isn't a lot of space in the SSD.

There's a lot of tutorials how to change a user home location, but my users don't even exist in the newly installed OS. If I recreate them they will probably have different user IDs.

Is it possible to reuse the already existing user configurations?

In case you don't come across a way to do so (there should be one, considering this would be an issue enterprises would have), the replacement of UIDs in the registry would be fairly straightforward using DCSoft's RegEditX which adds RegCrawler to regedit, a powerful search and replace (including batch replace) program for the Registry.
