When a VIP user sends out company wide mails to example "all staff" X user receives all of the out of office replies is there anything we can set up on the user side to stop this but still receive out of office replies when he emails users directly

1Pretty much impossible to do "out of the box".... It would be best to create a shared mailbox (e.g. notices@example.com or no-reply@example.com) that your manager can "send on behalf of" and he sends the message as that mailbox. The shared mailbox will receive all the Out-of-Office replies so it doesn't clog up his mailbox... I'd probably set up a rule or something that manages the mailbox so it doesn't fill up over time (but also put a note on any emails he sends saying that the mailbox isn't monitored yada yada...) – Kinnectus – 2019-06-26T11:18:50.697

I thought this would be the case the solution you suggested seems like a good way to approach this. Thanks for the reply :) – logan cox – 2019-06-26T12:00:29.343

Do you think it would be possible to do a rule such as? If subject = OOO and content = To:all staff? – logan cox – 2019-06-26T12:56:02.230

Possibly, but that would need to be set up for the manager mailbox... you could try it on your own Outlook... – Kinnectus – 2019-06-26T13:01:07.510

Yeah I would have access to the outlook to create this rule however I only have the options of subject contains? – logan cox – 2019-06-26T13:38:35.537

Okay so in the advanced rules I have added:- apply this rule when a message arrives with out of office in the subject with "all" or "staff in the body and all staff in the subject or body and witch in an automatic reply – logan cox – 2019-06-26T13:46:17.270
