Linux installation and windows 10 uninstall on laptop

I have hp envy x360 m convertible 15m-cn0012dx. I've made windows recovery on USB flash drive with HP Recovery Manager and now, I want to replace windows 10 with fedora 30. When I am installing fedora 30, it shows me 4 partitions which are related to windows 10: 1) EFI partition 2) Windows 10 partition 3) Recovery environment tool partition 4) Recovery partition My first question is: Is it okay to remove all those partitions, create new for Linux (/root, /home, /swap, /boot) and will my laptop boot into Linux after that? Second question: Will deleting windows efi partition change my BIOS/UEFI? Third question: In case I want to recover windows 10 with recovery media, will it be possible?

You don't need to delete thr EFI partition but it should be recreated anyway if the installer is properly booted in UEFI mode.. No, you won't be able to recover Windows later if you delwte yhe recoveru partitions (and I strongly recommend a dual boot preserving the Windows additional partitions). – None – 2019-06-25T17:27:40.643

And if you're asking this questions, Ubuntu is way more suitable for you. Fedora isn't hard but certainly much less beginner friendly. – None – 2019-06-25T17:29:22.377
