How can I tell why TFS ran a build?

0

TFS version is (Tfs2017.Update3). I have a xaml build definition that has its trigger set to run nightly and the "Build if nothing changes" is unchecked. For some reason, TFS is building the same changeset, I kicked off a build before I left yesterday to test something, then the nightly build ran building the same changeset. This seems to be happening with several different build definitions for different branches. Is there a way to tell why it is building? I updated the TFS Server to the current version several months ago, to be honest, I did not check or notice if this has been happening since I went from tfs 2017 update1 to update3. Are there any tables or a way to check the TFS Dabase to see why these builds are being run?
