After I reinstalled Windows 7 and created 3 primary partition of size 20 GB (C drive) , 100 GB (D drive) & 110 GB(E drive) , I am facing strange behavior for copying large files(>400 MB) , while the smaller files are copied in less than 20s. At the initial stage (for 1st 20s approx.) , I am getting a normal speed of 30 - 80 MB/s but soon after that there is massive fall to as low as 90 KB/s or even low . I also tried to copy from D to E drive & also within the same partition (D to D & E to E) but the results were same.
The copying speed is fine from hard disk to pen drive(around 6 MBps ) but not vice-versa.
I tried to search a lot but didn't got a proper answer to this , please help me to figure out this problem.
