Shuffle on (mp3) USB stick

Question

I have a USB stick with something like 8000 songs that I would like to shuffle, but not through the "shuffle" mode on the radio. The radio isn't playing the songs from the USB in the alphabetical order, but clearly in the "first on the stick" mode, because I have add a few songs lately, and they are all at the end of the stick (even if they start with letter A). What I would like to find is a method that shuffles the index (if I can call it like this?) of every song on the stick. I have found another similar thread here ( Is there a way to enforce shuffling / randomizing of mp3s on a usb stick, without of shuffle support from the playing device? ) but the user wants to rename the tracks to have another alphabetical order, that's not want I would like to.
