Can Mendeley manage the filenames of a collection of .pdf files?

Question

I'm in the habit of naming paper .pdf files in the format:

<first author>[<second author>]<year><alphabetic counter>_<TitleWithImportantWordsOnlyLikeThis>

where []'s mean optional.

Will Mendeley do this for me?
