Communicating with ActiveXperts SMS Gateway Server using an HTTP Restful Interface (GET/POST)

I have gone through the ActiveXperts SMS Gateway at the following link and it addresses the issue "How can we configure an external SMS Provider with ActiveXperts".

I have done the above by configuring an HTTP/SMPP Channel to external SMS Provider. Now I can send SMS using ActiveXperts SMS Gateway.

What I want to do is,

  1. Configure ActiveXperts SMS Gateway to entertain HTTP request and forward them to configured HTTP/SMPP channel.
  2. Or use a java application to achieve point 1.
