Confirmation/enquiry emails sent to Gmail users' appear blank

0

We have a server with a few websites on it. Some of the sites send inquiries and order confirmations via email. Recently the emails' body content is just blank when being received on email accounts that are controlled by Gmail. Other email providers seem to be fine (Outlook etc) and strangely some of the inquiries go through to my inbox ok however they are blank for a client (both accounts are controlled by Gmail). As far as I'm aware these problems have only started happening in the last few days - before that, I've never had this issue.

If I try sending the same emails from the dev environment on my local machine they come through fine so that leads me to believe it's a problem somewhere on the server's end but given it works for certain people/sites I could be wrong.

I've checked the mail.log but there aren't any errors. Viewing the original email/source in Gmail shows that the message just ends after this line:

Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Appreciate any help!

1Please try using an email client (Windows mail, Outlook or Thunderbird) as this might be because the email is signed and the end gmail user is trying to access it via web browser. If it is not having any issue when send to other email service provider accounts, it indicates some compatibility issue between gmail and the email encoding or content. – Nikhil_CV – 2019-05-24T09:14:16.757
