I found out today that this chrome extension able to open .onion links, and it quite surprised me because i thought that the connection must go through Tor. I did used a Onion Browser Button extension in Chrome but it connected to an active Tor connection, but this proxy extension does not connected to Tor and just able to access the onion sites. You type the onion URL exactly as you would write in Tor Firefox bundle, unlike other services like Tor2Web or onion.link where you add extension to the onion like onion.to or something like that.
This type of connection is considered very bad for privacy and anonymity. I didn't understand if this skyZIP extension is more like using Tor or more like using services like Tor2Web? Or is it a totally different solution? And is it considered safe option to use in aspects of privacy and anonymity?

With all the references to "Proxy Server" and "Proxy Server Farms", it looks more like Tor2Web, etc. That is, your connection appears to be routed to the extension owner's servers, then to Tor and vice versa (Tor to proxy servers to you). Speaking personally, I wouldn't use it for any sensitive Tor browsing. It seems like it would be very easy to log information about your connection and the addresses of the site(s) you visited. – Anaksunaman – 2019-05-20T16:21:50.253
