I could successfully install pgadmin3 and also postgresql 11 and postgis in ubuntu 18.04. But i am not able to create a new server for creating a new database in pgadmin3.
The installation is done as
sudo apt-full upgrade as first step.
Next the command which i executed was sudo apt-get install postgresql. The latest version of postgresql was installed. Next pgadmin3 was installed by sudo apt-get installed pgadmin3 and then, simultaneously i made changes in pg_hba.conf. After this pgadmin3 was succesfully installed. The same process was used for installing pgadmin3 in ubuntu 16.04 and i was successfully
able to create new server in pgadmin3. But i am not able to do so in ubuntu 18.04. But the same way was used to install pgadmin3 in other machine with same configuration and it was done successfully.
