How can we save emails and attachments on OWA

0

We are in desperate need to save emails from OWA. We create support tickets and need to upload the customer emails to the ticket. How can we go about doing this. We love all the other mail and calendar features OWA offers and don't want to have to go back to using the old application.

OWA doesn't provide a way for users to save emails to disk. The easiest 'answer' is "Switch to actual Outlook". In OWA, you can save attachments quite easily though, so I'm not sure what problem your trying to solve there. And you could always print emails to a PDF via a virtual PDF printer if it's only occasional emails you want to save. Perhaps clarify the technical goals, and include what you've attempted already (and the results). – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 – 2019-05-09T15:39:59.590

To those who have/may vote this as 'off-topic'. Although it's lacking detail, it's pretty obvious as-is that it's about saving email to a computer from a web site. Completely on-topic. – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 – 2019-05-09T15:42:24.657

We need to save emails and attachments to our computer and upload them into in a different application that we use to make support tickets. You can save emails and attachments right from the email in the regular Outlook application so why is it so difficult to do that from the OWA? – user1033928 – 2019-05-09T20:28:57.897

Almost no one can answer Why it's the way it is. :) You can just click and save attachments directly from the OWA UI. And you can print emails to pdf and then put them in your ticketing application. Why wouldn't that suffice? – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 – 2019-05-10T00:30:38.260
