VLC, is there a way to turn the 1 click to play into 1 click to select and 2 clicks to play?

So, as the title says, I'm having trouble with VLC after switching from Windows 10 to Linux Manjaro XFCE 18.0 Illyria (Arch).

I was using Plex on Windows, and although I know VLC quite well, I never noticed this before since I was Opening the Movie/TV Show from Explorer...

But now that I am using the Playlist/Media Library Function, I find it quite Annoying that every time I click an Element (Movie/TV Show) to simply select it, that it starts playing...

Is there anyway to change the click functionalities in VLC? (I have to Double Click to play a file when in "Explorer" (Thunar File Manager))

If someone knows how I could change VLC's clicks (1 to select, 2 to play), it would be very appreciated if you could share that with me or even everyone here...

I find it kinda odd that I'm the first to ask this question... And I did search for a pretty long time...I've been trying to find an answer for almost a week since I'm just looking every once in a while (Not 24/7...far from that LOL).
