I accidentally corrupted my flash drive by disconnecting it while it was still in use and I do not see the partition any more in the dev directory.
I tried fsck and dd on the drive file itself /dev/sdf and both cases I get the error message 'No medium found.'
I am not sure where to go from here and any guidance would be welcome.

Connect the device, wait just a little bit, type "dmesg" and look at the end of the listing. What do you see ? – Claude Frantz – 2019-04-25T08:21:51.710
