setting up shared internet connection on BeagleBone Black

Question

I previously had setup, using Windows, a shared internet connection for my BBB. A few weeks later I tried to do the exact same thing, but with no results. I'm pretty sure this is down to the fact that I can no longer select which IP address can share the connection, as demonstrated in the image (there should be a dropdown menu with all the different potential connections). I was wondering if anyone knew the solution or had encountered something similar.
