AWS EC2: How to make UUID constant?

need a solution for EC2 where the software hosted in Windows, the web-based application is poping with licensing issue whenever I reboot my instance. any Solutions for this?

Do you really mean "reboot" or do you actually mean "stop/start?" If you stop and then start an EC2 instance, the underlying hardware changes (even if you start it again, immediately), but not if you simply reboot. – Michael - sqlbot – 2019-04-10T18:38:01.780
