Perforce Error while adding a file from workspace to depot : "c:\Users\ankus\Desktop\_LAS_\1.txt - file(s) not in client view."

Question

I am trying to add a file from workspace to depot. I can see my local directory in the workspace tab. But while Adding it to be depot, I am getting the following warning: no files opened 1 warning reported c:\Users\ankus\Desktop_LAS_\1.txt - file(s) not in client view.

The output of Connection->Edit Current Workspace is below: Workspace Name: LAS Workspace Root: C:\Users\ankus\Desktop_LAS_

And I am choosing from Depot Tree, Depot_LAS having client expression '\_LAS_\Depot_LAS...

On my local machine, the file is present in: C:\Users\ankus\Desktop_LAS_

Please let me know if more information is required.

I search various threads regarding this, but none of them helped. Any input here will be highly appreciated.
