I have a thin provisioned disk. I ran the following command on the VM to shrink the disk
sdelete.exe -z [drive:]
Once the command got completed. I powered off the VM and ran the following command on the ESXi host (VMware ESXi, 5.5.0) but nothing happens and i am returned back to the prompt.
vmkfstools -K [disk].vmdk
Can someone assist me on this issue as i need to reclaim the space in the data-store
