I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 and the same 2012 R2 machine I have been connecting to for months through Remote Desktop now freezes after I minimise it for 10+ minutes. It doesn't auto reconnect just a complete long freeze forcing me to close RDP.
I can't seem to find a solid solution to this. This worked fine on my old Win7 OS so I hope it's something I can change inside my new Win8 OS.
