Usb is really messed up

This has probably already been as sked an answered to a certain point. My usb lexar has a small amount of files on it i want to delete. It currently stuck in read only mode when read only attrib is no and it does not have a switch. Ive check the volume of the disk of the usb and the readonly attribute is a no as well. I tried using diskpart to clean the disk of its attributes. I get an I/O error. I can scan repair the drive because its write protected. I go to the registry and try the change the write protect to 0. In file properties under advanced option (Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties) is greyed out and checked. I know the drive has errors. And im running out of ideas. I need another way to fix the error on the drive or change the attribute of the disk. I have tried looking through regedist for properties regarding the usb and contents but im not sure where to look. So thats the issue and what i have done so far. Any useful suggestion. And i dont care about the contents being erased. I really want the falsh drive working again.
