I have the above mentioned motherboard and just recently I switched my case to a FD Define R6, meaning I just put the hardware into the new case without any kind of reinstallations at first. But the Front USB Panel was not working in its entirety (3.0 and 2.0). So I updated drivers, I even did my "Upgrade" from Win7 to Win10 and got a new USB-Front Panel from the surprisingly good fd support, but nothing did the job.
What are the right things to do here?
I am still really happy with my current processor, which is why we talk about that "old" hardware.
Full Specs:
- Win10 Home 64Bit
- MSI Z97 Gaming 3

And yes at least the internal USB 2.0 did work. My old case had a weird workaround for USB 3.0, where a usb cable was layed through the case and put in the back usb ports of the mainboard, so I can't say anything about internal USB 3.0.
EDIT: To avoid maybe some confusion: The USB 3.0 workaround in my old case had nothing to do with the mentioned mainboard, but with the case itself!
