4k 60fps video lags on the pretty powerful PC. All 4 cores are loaded by 100%, GPU loading is between 4 and 12% depending on renderers selected Media Player Classic other players also lags with the same sympthomes
video properties: Video: HVC1 3840x2160 59.94fps 78744kbps [V: GoPro H.265 [eng] (hevc main, yuv420p, 3840x2160, 78744 kb/s)] Audio: AAC 48000Hz stereo 189kbps [A: GoPro AAC [eng] (aac lc, 48000 Hz, stereo, 189 kb/s)]
PC: Core i5-7600k 3700 Mhz 16Gb RAM SSD GeForce 1050Ti 4Gb Windows 8.1
So what can be a cause of the lags?

You answered your own question in the first line with the words "All 4 cores are loaded by 100%". This means the system is constrained by CPU, while the GPU is fairly idle.The solution would be - if possible - to offload processing from the CPU to GPU, which may require better video drivers and/or codecs. – davidgo – 2019-03-05T05:33:36.357
