My virtual box (centos OS 7) UI lags a lot although I've allocated a total of 8 gb ram (total 32 gb) and 4 cores. The gnome shell seems to be causing the spike in CPU usage, sometimes even upto 80%. what may be the possible solutions i can implement to control this?
