I am using the same Domain user on 2 computers running windows 10 Pro which are running the same VS2012 sp1 versions. On the first computer, I am able to grant permission on tfs 2012 and save. the other computer has the save button disappeared. I have the same access rights as "domain admin" on both computers. What could be the problem?
Hi Anthony. What is Tfs? What do you mean by grant permission on tfs 2012? You mention the "save button disappeared". It would be useful to attach a pair of screenshots to see the differences. How do you check that both computers have the same access rights? Hope this questions let you improve your question, so you can get a solution soon. Regards. – nephewtom – 2019-01-25T15:16:25.747
@nephewtom TFS is Microsoft's ALM, it's used for managing product features, user stories, bugs etc... – spikey_richie – 2019-01-25T15:28:57.953
Are you logging into TFS using 2 different user accounts? If so, is the non-working user a member of the team? – spikey_richie – 2019-01-25T15:29:50.783
@spikey_richie No I am using the same domain account (domain admin) on both computers. also same version of visual studio ultimate 2012 sp1. to note that on the laptop having the problem, I am able to login to tfs administration or download latest versions or map the projects to my local drive. The only issue is that I cannot grant access to the team from this machine. – Anthony Touma – 2019-01-28T05:28:57.440
