Outlook 2016 reports mailbox disconnected

0

I look after a lot of endpoints and often get the standard "Outlook Disconnected" error which is fixed in one of the many usual ways that Googling finds, or using the connectivity tool (turning off cached mode, clearing credentials, safe mode... usual stuff and last resort, rebuilding profile)

I have this single client though where I am getting the disconnected problem and the usual fixes don't work. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or can they put me in the right direction as I am pulling my hair out over this.

Standard Windows Domain with sync to Office 365.

In addition, there is 2 other Exchange/Office 365 accounts with 100% separate users/additional mailboxes in different Office 365 tenants.

This user randomly reported once a week that any one of the 3 accounts is reporting as disconnected.

I did the usual fixes - nothing, then rebuilt the mailbox, and it resolved, until about a week later when another mailbox at random appears offline.

After the ~5th time, reinstalling office, SFC, logs and more found nothing, I thought, let's rebuild the PC, and, I didn't hear anything for about a month.

Come this morning, same issue again.

Every user in this company has the same setup, this is the only user with this issue.

Only thing out of the ordinary I can see is that the hard drive is a little slower than normal and is next on the list to replace (seeing high IO), but, it doesn't have bad sectors/hasn't actually failed.

Can anyone assist or point me in the right direction?
