After cloning SSD with Todo backup 10 SSD signature changed and OEM toolbox is non func

I cloned a Win 7 64 OS from a ADATA SSD to a Kingston SSD. Everything boots and works fine except neither the ADATA nor Kingston SSD utilities work on the cloned drive. I'm guessing the drive signature was transferred in the cloning. My concern is that the TRIM function may not work now or that other native drive functions may not be accessible since the drive signature is from a different OEM. If I use a CMD line command to record the proper signature and edit the registry will this fix the problem and what are the chances it will screw up my ability to boot?

2Which ADATA and Kingson utilities don't work? How exactly do they not work? What do you mean by "drive signature"? What registry edit are you talking about? – gronostaj – 2018-02-26T12:47:53.443

1TRIM is a function of Windows. The OEM toolbox is not required for TRIM to function. – Ramhound – 2018-02-26T14:23:29.487

ramhound I know Trim is a windows function but will it be applied if the OS does not recognize the model designation of the SSD? – hitechluddite – 2018-02-27T02:07:55.887

gronstaj here is an answer to some of your questions. none of the utilties for either OEm work on the cloned drive, they just show blank, no recognizable drive. https://superuser.com/questions/1250123/cloned-disk-duplicate-disk-signature-how-to-resolve/1250177?newreg=cfe0bca0e2574345a3671821f2eaf95a
