I haven't reset my PC in 2 years and it's getting a bit slow. I wanted to reset my PC but it keeps telling me that There was problem resetting your PC, probably something corrupted. I would workaround the problem and fix it but I simply don't have the time to do so, right now.
I'm wondering if it's okay/safe to reset my PC via a Windows 10 ISO file that's virtually mounted by Windows 10 (no third party software)
I feel like I've done it before but my memory is cloudy and I'd rather take the safe bet.
I can guarantee you that if you asked as to help you identify the reason for your performance problem we could identify it. Doing a Reset will just mask your actual problem. Why do you want to mount the iso, and perform a clean install, when you can Reset and choose to keep nothing and achieve identical results – Ramhound – 2018-01-19T06:08:58.777
Yes; You can do a clean installation, from a mounted ISO, without an issue – Ramhound – 2018-01-19T06:16:38.993
@Ramhound That's what I wanted to do - I wanted to reset my PC using the remove everything option, I used to always do that but now I cant; it gives me an error saying "There was a problem resetting your PC" – StoleYourShroud – 2018-01-19T06:21:54.370
