2560x1440 monitor display only 2048x1152

I have DELL laptop lattitude e5530 with integrate graphic HD4000. I bought DELL monitor U2515h, which is qhd (2560x1440), which is connected over HDMI.

I defined custom resolution (in default was not 2560x1440 resolution in option), and after result win7 show my primary display as 2560x1440. But on https://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ is only 2048x1152.

How can I force monitor to display in full resolution? HD 4000 should know it.

You need DisplayPort rather than HDMI for higher resolutions with the HD 4000. Also see https://communities.intel.com/thread/30360

Unfortunatelly display port my laptop has not. So is not chance to do it with HDMI? I red that HDMI and HD 4000 can display even 4k, but just in 30 Hz and with 2K Would't be problem. – tomasr – 2017-11-08T16:46:18.687
