Files Excluded by Defender. Are these files safe and can be excluded?

0

When doing a scan of my laptop using Windows Defender on latest version of Windows 10, I notice there are few files are excluded by Windows Defender. You can view the image here:

File List

Are these files safe to keep on the laptop or we can delete it without any issues?

Looking for advice.

1Looks like malware that whitelisted itself. It's certainly not normal. – Mario – 2017-09-26T05:02:23.283

Is this a corporate laptop? – Daniel B – 2017-09-26T05:44:21.807

No, this is a personal laptop used for development. How do I get rid of these? Also, do you advice me deleting these files? – Nitesh – 2017-09-26T10:15:22.230

1that looks like a KMS activation crack to activate Windows. – magicandre1981 – 2017-09-26T15:11:40.193

That's weird! Its a laptop running original Win10 licensed via MS. – Nitesh – 2017-09-27T13:51:46.953

the last 2 files are not part of original Windows 10. Run slmgr.vbs -dli to see which activation you use (OEM, retail or KMS)

it shows as a KMS client. how do I get rid of this? – Nitesh – 2017-10-01T19:11:00.623

buy a legal Windows 10 license, enter the product code and delete the 2 non MS files from system32 – magicandre1981 – 2017-10-02T13:28:55.247
