I have an old TV that's DLNA capable. I am able to stream content from my laptop when it and TV is connected via Ethernet. But can't when laptop or phone connected via WI-Fi. The TV does not have WI-Fi. I am using a broadband router. But I don't have an internet connection. So any help will. Be extremely thankful...
Samsung ua32c6900vr is the TV and D-Link dsl2730u is the modem...

Some old routers block broadcast traffic between WiFi and Ethernet networks. The only choices you have are to see if there is an updated firmware for your router or replace it entirely. – Mokubai – 2017-06-11T10:41:16.710

If it's not that old then have a look in the options for the router for something like "wireless isolation" or something similar. If it is enabled then disable it. Most routers allow you to supply them a firmware update file from your local network so you could potentially download it to your laptop and update the router from there over ethernet. – Mokubai – 2017-06-11T10:57:24.067
