My Epson WF3520 (which has worked perfectly for 4 years) today started to turn itself on and off every minute or two. It means that any connection to it is lost. It happens both while the printer or scanner is being used or even if it is not used. I have checked all the power cables, etc. but no change. While trying to use it, the printer screen will suddenly become unresponsive and then turn itself off and back on again.

Issue seems hardware related, so printer firmware seems more likely. All OPs have english/germanic names and 1 rep which makes my sysadmin sense tingle just a wee bit, perhaps incorrectly. – music2myear – 2016-12-06T17:05:14.793
