My ps/2 port keyboard does not function after BIOS. Can I fix this?

0

I recently created a boot drive for Windows 10 from the Media creation tool that I downloaded from the Microsoft website. Now when I boot from the disk, the keyboard works fine till i allow the computer to boot from the PD and when it asks to press any key to boot from the USB I press all sorts of keys but it does not recognize my keyboard any more My keyboard does not respond the the pressing of NUMLOCK key and doesn't even work at the logon screen. When I properly shut down the computer and then start from scratch and not boot from the disk, the keyboard works fine. Pls explain what the problem is and if there is any fix then you are welcome

1Instead of spending hours troubleshooting, why not spend $9.99 on a USB keyboard? – cybernard – 2016-09-06T21:43:24.577
