How to Restore My User profile after using sysprep

0

Just use sysprep for change my motherboard and microprocessor. When Enter on windows 7 my profile (with contains digital signatures) just not there and create a new one.

There is a folder like *.profile whats contain the profile after sysprep, but is not showing when i chose a profile in windows start screen.

Is possible to restore that profile just like before ran sysprep or import anyway the digital signatures?

Thanks for your time.

1part of the process of Sysprep is removing user profiles. – Ramhound – 2016-08-30T17:35:45.657

If you have a restore point set before using sysyprep, use Windows System Restore, see if it will restore the user profile. – Moab – 2016-08-30T17:43:00.233

Can you work on the clarify of this question? If enable EFS within your profile, and you SysPrep your machine, your files cannot be recovered. So its important what you did, is crystal clear, cause the answer changes depending on what you actually mean. – Ramhound – 2016-08-30T17:54:54.387

@Ramhound thank you for reply me. mmm i don't konw if EFS it was activaded on the profile. But after sysprep the profile was stored in users/newprofile.profile. the Files they're inside in the directory. And if i go to the acount manager i see the profile but on startup screen no show up. I hope it helps. Sorry of my bad english. – Agus Veneziano – 2016-08-30T19:00:34.750

So which digital signatures are you talking about? Have you verfied the account exists? Transfer the files within the profile is simply, but if EFS was used, the files would be encrypted. Some of information that must be provided if you want an answer, can only be answered by you, clarifying if you were using EFS or not would help greately. – Ramhound – 2016-08-30T19:02:58.437

pfx and cer certificates. For digital signs – Agus Veneziano – 2016-08-30T20:27:00.250

If you have the certificates, you can access your files, if you don't then they are gone – Ramhound – 2016-08-30T22:18:54.047

only i get the cer certificates but i don't have the pfx. I guess that i need to order them again. – Agus Veneziano – 2016-08-30T22:23:36.970
