Using Win 10, in any of the Win software, attempts to "share" or e-mail send me to Outlook even though I have set gmail as my default. I have google set up and I have Win 10 default as gmail. What do I do?

1As far as I know is GMail no mail client on Windows. What let's you conclude that GMail is your default email (client)? – CHfish – 2016-08-17T15:53:30.413

1Welcome to Super User. We need more details in order to answer your question. When you say "I have set gmail as my default", how did you do this? Did you make it your email in the Mail app? – CharlieRB – 2016-08-17T16:01:00.890

CharlieRB and CHfish: Thanks for responding. In windows 10, I went to windows/settings/system/default apps/email and set Google Chrome as email. Chrome is also set in the bottom toolbar. – Fred – 2016-08-18T18:32:30.390
