After an kernel update Ubuntu doesn't show my wireless device. How can I fix this?

I checked the syslogs and it says the following:

What hardware are you using and what specific update did you apply? – Ivo Flipse – 2010-02-16T14:34:09.647

I am on Lenovo G430. It has Broadcom Wireless Device. – Jigar Shah – 2010-04-01T11:38:24.040

I have tried lspci. It shows hardware. But no interface on ifconfig. – Jigar Shah – 2010-04-05T11:58:08.480

Are you running ifconfig -a? – solo – 2012-04-08T08:03:43.237

Have a look in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (and similar files) to see why b43 is blacklisted - AFAIK it's the latest broadcom driver. Also you might like to run jockey and see if it suggests any better drivers for your wireless card. – ed. – 2012-10-17T07:21:51.823
