Invert the direction of the mousepad

0

I wonder if I can invert the scroll direction of my mousepad. I'd like to scroll upwards and have that action scroll downwards and vice-versa. I tried doing it with Windows PoweShell but got an error.

These are my specifications:

  • Logitech TK820 all-in-one keyboard. (It's a usb mousepad keyboard)
  • Windows Vista HomePremium Service Pack 2.
  • Windows PowerShell v1.0

I would appreciate any help.

Two questions. Why are you using Windows Vista?? Another question what steps have you already taken to try and achieve this? where did you get the guide? Or are you just trying yourself? – NetworkKingPin – 2016-06-22T05:48:35.130

Hello, I'm using Wndows Vista because I restore the cpu to it's factory settings. I didn't upgraded OS because last time I heard the OS upgrade aren't for free and since this is not my main computer, I didn't worry about it. The guide I was following is this: (http://superuser.com/questions/310681/inverting-direction-of-mouse-scroll-wheel)

If you go to Control Panel and select Devices and Printers Click on your keyboard and see if it has any options for the Track Pad? – NetworkKingPin – 2016-06-22T06:22:20.410

Already tried that, I couldn't find any options at the control keyboard panel nor at the mouse panel. I couldn't find any option about a trackpad neither. – canelita – 2016-06-22T06:32:22.233

1PowerShell is telling you that you don't have permission to change that registry value. You could try running PowerShell as Administrator. – dangph – 2016-06-22T08:18:02.467

Did you download the driver for the keyboard? It should be SetPoint. The driver should have an option to invert the scrolling on the track pad. – root – 2016-06-22T12:06:10.447

Thanks @dangph, this solved my problem. I just need it to run it as Administrator. screenshot. How can I mark this answer as a solution?
