I've currently reinstalled Windows 7 on my old Acer Laptop.
Everything is working fine but whenever i start the Internet Explorer my Laptop slows down heavily. The next boot up then takes about 20 minutes and after that is working fast and fine again.
This is happening everytime IE is launched.
Anyone any ideas?

Updates can resolve many issues. So, I would suggest you install all the Windows updates and see if things improve. – CharlieRB – 2016-04-22T18:59:01.350
