I have a canon EOS 700d and I record HD 1080p video at 25fps on it but when I transfer it to my computer via usb cable the quality is terrible. I use Sony movie studio platinum to edit my videos. When I upload the video to youtube the quality settings says it is 1080p but the quality looks terrible. Please help me.

1Can you clarify when the video is bad? You mention at least 3 transfers/conversions (camera > hard drive > editing software > youtube). Lots of places the quality could be modified . . . when do you notice the degradation? Youtube videos also tend to look better after some delay from the initial upload (e.g. seems they do some different encoding for initial display, vs. the permanent version). – ernie – 2016-02-06T23:22:46.250
