Just started going out yesterday out of the blue. All other wifi devices work fine, so it's def the computer. Signal just varies and wreaks havoc. "Wireless LAN 802.11" Have restarted computer with no change. Trouble shooter fixes it and then it goes out again.

1Welcome to Super User. There are many things which could cause what you are describing. Please tell us what OS you are using (I'm guessing Windows, but which version). Have you run virus and malware scans to ensure there isn't an infection? – CharlieRB – 2016-01-15T16:53:57.057
Are you sure it is a WiFi problem? If you plug an Ethernet cable in, do you have a stable connection? – InterLinked – 2016-08-11T14:29:20.357
