TL;DR: My SxS store is non-corrupt, repaired and corrupted. At the same time. Unsure how to fix.
Any further clues in the log files as to what is going on? C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log & C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log... Have you tried to repair using the Powershell command Repair-WindowsImage (not sure of the switches off the top of my head sorry..) – CharlesH – 2014-06-26T11:44:55.953
1upload the CBS and DISM log files, I'll take a look at them later. – magicandre1981 – 2014-06-26T14:02:26.853
As totally non-helpful as it is, I decided I should have posted the outcome. I rebooted and it worked fine. Pride a little damaged I didn't try that before posting, but there you go. Sorry all for the delay! – LuckySpoon – 2015-01-05T06:31:07.173
You should post your own answer and accept that as the answer so it's clear in case others ever find this helpful and that there is a clear answer. – Pimp Juice IT – 2015-12-26T02:38:35.430
