DNS hosting service is optimal when the provider has multiple servers in various geographic locations that provide resilience and minimize latency for clients around the world. By operating DNS nodes closer to end users, DNS queries travel a much shorter distance, resulting in faster Web address resolution speed.

There are DNS hosting services that let you set records for your domain. For example you can set A record to point to your webhost IP. But most of the webhosts also allow you to set A records. Would the DNS lookups be faster if I used the webhost…

Adding https in URL takes to different site

I have a domain www.abc.co.in mapped with default index page. but, when i add https in the url to https://www.abc.co.in, it takes to someone else's site. Does it have to be any configuration problem in DNS mapping? Please let me know your views
