I brought 5 liters of 10-20% hydrogen peroxide from a pool store some time ago. Im going to use it to make sulfuric acid by bubbling SO2 through but Im worried about the number of impurities which it would contain.
Can activated carbon be used to purify hydrogen peroxide or would the H2O2 also absorb into the carbon? Would there be any impurities left which would react with my acid if it works?
Thanks for any help.
