Reading through the topic on the possibility of compromise of the forum and computers thereof, it made me realize that there's a quick, simple way to make sure certain IPs don't get to your computer.
PeerGuardian 2 (http://methlabs.org/projects/peerguardian-2-windows/) is freeware, and it works well enough to keep the RIAA away. With the government IP list activated, I'd wager it keeps them from easily getting at you either.
This program makes me feel that generalized, non-specific searching from these IPs on forums like these (government fishing, if you will) is less of a threat. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want a false sense of security...
