I've sucessfully prepared AP, HTMD and MEKP, now just wondering, what to try next - I can't easily get exotic precursors like HNO3

Why not ANNM or APAN?

NM might be hard to get, and i think trying to buy AN in this day and age isn't easy
I have to take a bit of a road trip to a major city next week so i might hunt down some Mg or Ca nitrate, and/or H2SO4 and conc. H2O2
Fellow Australians, any tips for aquiring decent glassware?

Zeitgeist, just the other day at a model shop I saw 5L of pure NM for $80. Im sure most places could order it in for you. The question is, do you want to buy $80 worth of any explosive? AN is fine as long as you buy large amounts and that your old enough to shave. As for glass ware, I struck a deal with a friend at CSIRO.
BTW As long as you have money, most suppliers dont give a shit what you're buying the chems for.

There are so many glassware suppliers! How can you ask "know of any decent glass suppliers"!
Ebay is a start, they sell many good things. Also why do you want Ca and Mg nitrate? BTW Mg nitrate is in my pdf

Thanks for the response guys,
I don't think i would buy $80 worth of NM
I have seen that same Mg Nitrate in hardware and garden stores before, i will have to find a hydroponic store to hunt down some decent H2O2, 6% is too expensive for it's yeilds, and apparently Ca nitrate is extensively used in hydroponics. I just thought they would be easier to find and less suspicious than K, NH4 or Na, but i might find them,
Large amounts of AN? What's that, 50Kg bags?
I want the nitrates to try and make HNO3 and/or directly make organic nitrate HE's

When people say "oh I don't want 50kg of AN or xNO3" thats pretty stupid. You will always use it! I had a 50kg sack of KNO3 and thought to myself I'll never use this up but I am down to 20kg in about 6 months...

If you can buy uncontaminated AN you might make money from it. It shouldn't be illegal to ship to other places I think and many ppl like you look for AN in kg quantities. It might be wise to label the package that it contains a fertilizer for algae culture or some bullshit like that. No idea how much customs check a package of pellets though. But I see kgs of AN go for 5 euros around these parts so...
About the ideas... how about picric acid or nitrocellulose?

I might look at ice pack AN, just a small amount
I don't really have anywhere to store 50Kg bags of AN, KNO3 etc
If i can get suitable nitrates, i think NC and picric acid will be the way to go.
I want to get a decent flask(s) before attempting to make HNO3, it's not a process well suited to jam jar chemistry
Hmmm, EBay for lab glassware you say......
Hmm, a UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, current bid $10, I have no use for it but it's still tempting for some reason....

Believe me, in the thrill of having 50kg of NH4NO3 or KNO3 loaded into the back of the car, you don't worry about where to store it. Besides, you could always use some of it for fertiliser. Surely you have a shed/garage, a fifty k sack doesn't take up too much room. It sure as hell is alot cheaper than ice packs. For the price of ten of them, you need never worry about it again.

One box of icepacks can containts 150g+ of AN and that enough for a APAN charge, so if your "tired" of making primaries, thats the next best thing. I wouldn't mind aquiring 5L of NM, i was thinking of making some plastique.
