In 2014, he led the Umbrella Movement
He wants full democracy in Hong Kong and is appealing to the world not to turn a blind eye to Hong Kong's problems. But Donald Trump seems to be turning a blind eye to the Hong Kong issue after his his trade negotiations with China.
The anti-communist conservatives wingnuts in some Western countries, including the United States,[Who?] also strongly advocates Joshua Wong as a champion of liberal democracy and anti-communism, but in fact he is such a liberal figure that he expresses support for Greta Thunberg[3] and Black Lives Matter[4] on Twitter!
