Caleb Foundation

The Caleb Foundation (locally known as the "Caliban") is a creationist and evangelical Protestant group in Northern Ireland.

They have a track record of attempting to get creationist propaganda into museums, e.g. the Ulster Museum in 2010, when Nelson McCausland, the Northern Irish Minister for Culture, suggested exhibits should recognise "alternative" accounts of the origins of the universe.[1][2][3]

In 2012 they pushed young earth creationist material on the National Trust for use in the visitors' centre at the Giants' Causeway.[4][5][6] The National Trust is currently dealing with the backlash, with many members threatening to resign over the issue.
