Java Edition:Shears with Silk Touch

Silk Touch was able to be applied to shears because of a bug in 12w49a but became a feature in the next snapshot 12w50a. Silk Touch on shears used to be required to harvest cobwebs but was later removed. Shears with Silk Touch currently aren't useful, but can be used to collect coral fans like any item with Silk Touch.

Obtaining

Shears can only have Silk Touch applied by using an anvil from 12w49a (1.4.6 snapshot) through 15w47a (1.9 snapshot). You must add Silk Touch before any other enchant in 12w49a, but Silk Touch can be added normally after 12w49a because of it becoming an actual feature.
