Java Edition:Poisonous Potato Sell Trade
In the April Fools' snapshot 24w14potato, villagers and wandering traders had emeralds in their trades replaced with either a poisonous potato if the villager was buying an item, or the new April Fools' item the amber gem if the villager was selling an item. When upgrading or downgrading, the villager will lose all amber gem buy trades, but will still be left with the poisonous potato sell trades.
Obtaining
In 24w14potato, generate new trades on any villager. All new trades will either buy amber gems or sell poisonous potatoes. These villagers then will have different effects occur to them depending on whether they are upgraded or downgraded.
Downgrading
If one of these villagers is downgraded to any version from 24w09a to 24w12a (1.20.5 snapshots), any trades including and after the first trade that includes amber gems will be deleted, which can delete all trades from a villager if such a trade is first in the trade list. Downgrading villagers to any version before 24w09a will result in all items in all trades converting to air, the same as any other villager when performing a downgrade to before 24w09a.
Villagers who have their entire trade list deleted will regenerate 2 new trades according to their career and level when reloaded.
Upgrading
Upgrading these villagers to 24w13a and beyond will only remove the amber gem buy trades, leaving any poisonous potato sell trades intact. If the villager does not have any poisonous potato sell trades, then it can have all of its trades deleted.
Villagers who have their entire trade list deleted will regenerate 2 new trades according to their career and level when reloaded.
